Data deletion
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Providame provides authentication for two different kinds of people, and how you delete your data depends on which one you are. This page explains both routes. For the full picture of what data we hold and why, see our Privacy Policy.
If you have a Providame account
This is you if you signed up for Providame directly to build an application — you have a workspace and one or more apps.
- Delete an app: from your dashboard, delete any app you no longer need. The app and all of its environments, end-users, API keys, and associated data are permanently and irreversibly removed after a short retention window (which exists only so an accidental deletion can be undone).
- Delete your entire account or workspace, or make a deletion request directly: email legal@providame.com from the email address on your account, and we will process the deletion of your account and all associated workspace data.
If you signed in to an app using Providame
This is you if you used Sign in with Google, Sign in with Facebook, Sign in with Apple, or any other method to log in to an application that happens to be built on Providame. In this case the company that operates that application controls your account, and Providame processes your data only on their behalf.
- Fastest route — contact the app you signed up through. The company whose application you use can delete your account and all of its data directly. They are the right first point of contact for any request about your data.
- Or contact us directly. Email legal@providame.com with the name of the app and the email address or social account (Google, Facebook, or Apple) you used to sign in. We will delete the data we process on that company's behalf and coordinate with them as needed.
What deletion removes
When an account is deleted, the associated personal data — including profile information received from Google, Facebook, or Apple during sign-in, active sessions, and any stored metadata — is permanently removed. We may retain a limited amount of information where we are legally required to (for example, security and audit records), as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not retain your data indefinitely after a deletion request is completed.
